Drop into Yin Yoga and deepen into your heart!
Yin not only helps the physical body but creates a space for stillness of the mind. Within this stillness, emotions often have a place to rise up. This is good. What rises, is seeking release. In this stillness, we observe what arises.
Experience the ancient practice of Yin Yoga - a slow-paced style of yoga with poses held for longer periods of time, 1-3- 5 minutes, depending on the student.
Yin Yoga poses apply moderate stress to the connective tissues of the body – the Yin tissues – the ligaments, tendons and fascia. This practice aims to improve flexibility and increase the circulation in the joints.
Different Yin Yoga poses connect and stimulate different meridian lines, or energy channels within the body and Chakras - the energy centres within the body, which affect our internal organs.
Gentle Sound Healing will close the class.
No experience with Yoga is necessary to participate.
